> Corn Yield calculator: if you have 30" rows, it takes 17.5 ft of row to equal 1/1000 of an acre. In several areas of the field, pick 3 cobs, count the # of rows and the # of kernels per row and average the 3 cobs. Multiply the average # of rows x the average # of kernels to get average kernels per ear. Estimated yield = # of ears in 17.5 ft x avg # of kernels per ear divided by 90.
